
Program Fees
Fees are subject to adjustment due to circumstances beyond the control of US INTERN, including but not limited to lack of participation and currency exchange rate fluctuation.
Program fees are due according to the terms in your J1 Participant Agreement. US INTERN will send out billing invoice with due dates. Payments may be made by credit card, wire transfer, or money order.
Program fees do NOT include:
Visa Application/Interview Fee at U.S. Embassy or Consulate
Airfare
Housing
Transportation
Meals
Other personal expenses

SEVIS Fee
$220 non-refundable
Due within 7 calendar days of invoice.
Expedited Application Fee
$900 non-refundable
Due with Application if requesting expedited services.
Dependent Spouse or Child Fee
$900 for first dependent
$500 for each additional dependent
Medical & Accident Insurance
Starting at $75/month
Proof of insurance required prior to Pre-Arrival Orientation
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Neither the Host Company nor US INTERN bears any liability for any losses or claims incurred by a Participant in connection with dismissal, early withdrawal or the Host Company or US INTERN's termination of the Program.
Participant will NOT be eligible for a refund if:
Participant withdraws from the Program after the start of the Program for any reason, or
Participant is dismissed for any reason, or
US INTERN, per its sole discretion, dismisses Participant for not having fulfilled all Program requirements (including but not limited to: payment in full of the Program Fees; submission of all signed forms and documents; successful completion of necessary visa requirements).
In Case of Visa Denial
Participant WILL be eligible for refund of the following: (US INTERN must be informed prior to the J-1 program start date and Participant must return the form DS-2019 to US INTERN)

Insurance fee
Participant will NOT be eligible for refund of the following:
Application fee
Expedited application fee
SEVIS fee
US host company site visit fee (if applicable)
